We alternate holidays in our fam since our families are about 7 hours apart...and this year we go to Houston for Thanksgiving . So, my side of the family met at my parents lake house for a small get together...minus my farmer, brother in law who had to sow wheat!! Ty got out of school at 12 on friday so, he and travis went to the deer lease and shot some things..but no deer. and came to the lake that night..since it's just an hour from deer lease.Friday night was absolutely before the house was took the girls for a "buggy ride" Claire's absolute favorite activity....and I sat and enjoyed a glass of bubble, birds chirping and deer munching on corn..BLISS!!!  Casey, B&S came after they got out of school and meme came saturday! Saturday was pretty chilly and, we stayed primarily indoors...but, thanks to a heater in the garage the boys worked on their "spaceships" pretty much all day...cutting windows, making buttons for their dash...pretty cool and a perfect activity for that day. Girls just kinda acted like sisters...and got in their way! haha!
Sunday was another gorgeous, we spent every second outdoors...with some pickup basketball games....brady won defensive player of the game with his block out skills....such a fun time.
casey and the kids have they went back to abilene...but, TY DOESN't!! WOOHOO!! so, we stayed...Travis went to deer lease after lunch...and meme went home monday morning.
After meme left, the girls (me, mom, hanna and claire) drove to brady to pick up some furniture and planned to do a little shopping..but, all stores were closed! ha! so, we just came back. Ty stayed with Grandpa and practiced shooting birds and played a game of tick tac toe on a target board with the bb gun! ha!
and then ty was back on the ball court with a game with mom mom.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, me and the kids will head to Houston and Travis will fly and meet us there for some more family fun time!
Love this time of year...and this Holiday! We certainly have so much to be thankful for! BLESSED!!!

I love when my kids want to crawl up in my lap..but, especially Ty....melts my heart everytime...he'll never be too old! (or at least I hope he thinks that).

cold day activity! yay for boxes, tap, markers and imaginations....

not sure who was more excited about the BB gun target...trav or the boys!haha.

saturday, the boys braved the cold weather..and sat in their make shift deer blind and may or may not have stung a few does with a BB!!! and they had a blast doing it! Of course, the girls had to get in on the action too!

sunday morning steam...

perfect tree for climbing...

always time for pictures...:)

Anna and Elsa Birthday Party..

Oh, still consume my girls and our, when we decided to have a joint birthday party for hanna and claire, to save 2 weekends for people to travel, they instantly wanted an "Anna and Elsa Birthday party." and wanted a "jumpy house"!
So, we ended up renting our church gym (again) and renting a bouncy house (again ) and it was full of family and friends.

Since they have a big brother...all parties have some sort of entertainment for all ages...since my kids are all ages...
So, the bouncy house was more for the big kids...and had a little slide and bubble machine for Claire and her friends. If there are 3 things claire would do all day it's 1) jump on her tramp, 2) slide and 3) play with bubbles. so, i found a great bubble machine and it was a hit for all ages. good investment!
my parents brought their little slide and she pretty much slide the whole time. and never once stepped foot in the bouncy house. i think the big kids overwhelmed her! But, the bouncy house combo thing was awesome. bounce room, slide and obstacle course all in one! I don't think I ever saw Ty come out until it was cake time!

claire also loves i made sure lots of balls were there...and balloons!
all in was a great time for kids to get some energy out..hopefully naps followed!

For food...we had "Sven's antlers" aka pretzels, "Elsa's Ice Crystals"- chocolate covered popcorn, "Snowballs"- Donut Holes, "Olaf's noses"- cheetos and carrots, and "Build Olaf" with marshmallows, raisins, pretzel sticks and candy corn....and let me just say.....I should have just had...
Donut holes, cheetos and marshmallows...those kids DEVOURED those 3 good thing there was lots of playing going on..haha!
add cake and their sugar was meet for awhile! ha!

Kids played, parents talked and most importantly, the girls had a blast! and both feel asleep in car on the way home....which equals a successful bday party!
We have the best family and friends who took time to come celebrate our little girls!

Clearly, you can tell I made their Anna and Elsa cakes....they may not have been the prettiest but the girls loved them.

The bouncy house...

bubble machine..

poor loaf's body was only eaten...haha.

up and down, up and down...

they love to play but when all eyes are on them...they get so shy!

hanna just loves her baby cousin, elly.  she loves being a "mom"

cousin love!!! 7 cousins...6 and under..

ty 5 and brady 6...just 11 months apart!
Clearly we know who has the tall parents!! lol.

sweet, and tired sisters..

love my baby girls...

and that's the wrap...completely worn out!

after a little rest...and a few hours...although the invitation said, "no gifts please" we still have some super sweet friends who brought the girls some, they got to open them! so very nice! and they loved them all!

the stroller has been pushed around constantly..

and the HUGE Frozen drawing set...has been broken in!ha!

How I didn't get a pic of all them on the girls new BIG tramp is beyond me...probably b/c I was being a and cold, windy weather aren't the best of friends..

Hanna loved all her toys...but, being able to play/help Elly was probably her favorite...poor elly was so distracted the whole time...haha..

We had such a great time with family and celebrating our girls....can't believe they are 2 and 4!
