4 months...

Our Sweet baby, Hanna is 4 months old today! It's funny because awhile back I had asked Travis how we would determine her 4 month birthday since February only has 28 days...then we realized it was a Leap year...phew, made it easy on us...haha...so, happy 4 month birthday Hanna James Roby!
I love this age/stage because she is constantly doing more and more and understanding her surroundings. She plays more with her toys by acting like they are a boxing punching bag or using her feet to kick like she is in swim lessons! We say Ty is active but she might hold the candle! haha. She is constantly flailing her extremities. She has the rolling over thing down and is seriously trying her hardest to sit up from a laying down position...as in a sit up. I feel so bad for her because she tries and tries. probably to see what her big brother is up too..but,...I have to remind her that she has a long way to go until she fully sits up...shoot, i haven't done a sit up in so long who knows If I can still do one..haha. Our little girl is also about to sprout a tooth...possibly 2. both lowers..one middle bottom and one to the left of it...yes,that's right..typically you get the middle lowers in first...but..so far it seems she'll "surprise us again," She hasn't quite got the hang of a chew toy... I try to give her some to help ease the pain but she thinks if something is in her mouth she needs to suck, which in turn, should produce milk..haha...sooo...we are still working on learning there are such things called "chew" toys. however, she is getting much better at chewing and will allow a few toys to be in her mouth...for now her fist does the trick.
She still wakes up every 3-4 hours at night to eat...but, has learned to comply with our nightly routine we have her on and now is in bed by 7:30 (same as big brothers).
She is such a sweet, sweet baby and I just love her so much. There are times when I just sit and hold her while she sleeps because...well, I just love to look at her. ha!
She has the biggest smile and loves to talk...it's pretty precious when she and ty "talk: and how long their conversations last...can't wait to hear what their convo's when they both can actually talk. :) but, I am not rushing anything..i love having my baby girl...and my toddler boy! :)
almost has the sitting thing down..just needs a little support.
her new face due to teething.

Ty is 2...

We had Ty's 2nd birthday party 2 weeks ago now...yes, I am a little late on the post..ha!
Ty LOVES Mickey mouse and his friends...so we decided to have a "mickey party." Ty was sooo excited about it...we had it at our church gym and in order to take up some space and provide more entertainment we rented a bouncy house...Ty hated it..everyone else loved it..lol. The basketball goal was a hit for

Ty as well as the wonderful MICKEY MOUSE who attended. We were kinda skeptical at first to bring in mickey bc we didn't want to scare any kids but after much contemplation we decided.
..why not..we'll just see how they respond we were shockingly surprised how w
ell all the kids actually liked seeing mickey...especially Ty...he was so excited Mickey came to his birthday party and told him when he first saw him..."hi mickey, come to my mickey party." lol. Our wonderful and

dear friend, Frankie, allowed mickey to be in attendance..and we can't thank him enough...although they did mention they already know their kids will like peter pan..haha...paybacks! lol. We let mickey leave the party about 30 minutes in so our friend could get out of costume...but, not before everybody got their picture taken with him. Frankie wa
s a great sport..as was kassadie..to burn an hour and half of their saturday morning to appease our 2 year old....THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Ty was apparently soooo excited about his "Mickey Party" that he woke up super early...5:00 or so and therefore, needed a nap before the party ended...but, he managed to hold it together and crashed before we could even leave the parking lot. :) but, he had a great time and it made us so happy to see him so happy...he still talks about it! :)

After kids took naps the rest of the fam...my parents, sister, brady, sophi and meme came to "ty's house" to play with gamy, granddaddy and aunt ashy-uncle b-ian and eat supper...it was a fun-filled,celebrate ty day!

On Ty's real birthday(saturday) we woke up and had mickey pancakes..played..ate dinosaur chicken nuggets with mac-n-cheese...ty tried to get out of a nap claiming.."no, it's my birf-day."..afterwards went to toys r us to cash in a gift card cousin McCain so graciously gave him (thanks McCain)..came home with a donald duck (to go with his mickey collection) and golf clubs...which he plays with constantly. We had an early dinner at the wonderful establishment of Mr. Gatti's. Blake, Kasey and Hallie accompanied us and although Ty had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed himself...we as parents were not too impressed...about 85% of the games were not working...just ask Kasey about it...she expressed her concerns to the BBB!!! and that's why we love her! :)
I know ty had a GREAT 2nd birthday and we thank everyone who came to celebrate
, call, text and facebook him a happy birthday...it was a success. he still tries to pull the birthday card! haha...he's a smart little boy!

Life of Ty...

As I was looking through my pictures on my phone tonight I had a few that made me chuckle...so, I thought I'd share. I have a funny little boy who constantly makes us laugh so..here is what Ty Roby did today.
First, he woke up came to our bed..asked for Mickey and "milk and brea-fast" that's a daily occurrence..although the time varies). Finally, it was time for me to get up and we go into the den and he talked to Hanna and gave snuggy(his lovie) a haircut.lol. After getting Hanna dressed it was his turn..then he wanted to read books in bed...which books you ask, well, the musical book that sings," we wish you a merry Christmas." haha, after repeating "happy new year, mommy" and "happy new year, Hanna." a few dozen times he finally decided to move on. While helping me get dressed it was his turn to put on his "con-act." put on his lotion and "do my hair." after smelling like Japanese cherry blossom lotion he was finally all finished..oh, but while I was still getting ready he managed to scarf down 2 bowls of applesauce. He sat on the potty for a good 30 minutes..we read about 5 books, worked in colors and counting..he cheered for mommy after I went potty but poor baby..nothing ever came out..and we were both done. Dadfy came home for lunch and we went on our daily lunch walk. He "walked" copper but from a very long distance. He likes copper but only from afar. Haha. Ate a good lunch(tuna sandwich) then it was nap time. Woke up earlier than he should have and we made cupcakes to take to his class in honor of his birthday on Saturday...therefore, he got to eat some batter...chocolate was everywhere on him.,cleaned his shirt..put a new, clean shirt on. Went to a friends house with me to discuss bridesmaids dresses..played with antique cars while there..lol. Came home helped mommy fix dinner( spilled food everywhere) ate a great supper then got to try a cupcake. Made mommy and daddy hamburgers and hotdogs..finally it was bedtime. and I guess the cupcake hit a sugar spot and he sang, talked and bounced around in his bed until finally crashing..lol.,he's a funny, funny boy and brings so much joy into our lives..just thought I'd share a typical day in his world! :)

She is a Roller...

Let's see...this past Thursday little Hanna decided she wanted to roll over! Caught me by surprise when I left her on her back and left the room..came back to her crying and on her belly. I was not exactly shocked to find her that way bc she had been trying hard for awhile to fully turn over...plus, she hates tummy time and it was no surprise she was crying due to being on her belly. Nevertheless, I was happy for her new milestone..at 3 months. The other night while She was sleeping in her bed she had rolled over and I think she woke up bc of it...which made me think she will not be like her daddy and sleep on her belly....but, tonight she flipped over and is still sacked out...so, she might have proved me wrong! I don't care how she sleeps just as long as she does! Lol! Maybe this will make tummy time a little more bearable. Ha? And, her little, chubby legs are constantly on the go(have since being incubated) and she constantly is trying to sit up. Today while ty and i were making valentine treats she was in her bumbo on the kitchen floor..i ended up having to pick her up bc she just about pushed her way out of it trying to stand up!!..
Love my little girl so much.
