So Thankful...

What a blessed life we live. We have so much to be thankful for...but our biggest blessing this year is TY!!! He has brings a smile to our face, all day and everyday...and we are so grateful the great Lord allowed us to bring him into this world. :)

This Thanksgiving we stayed in Midland were we had Thanksgiving lunch (our thanksgiving revolves around the Cowboy game :)) with my family..12 adults and 2 kids..although we were missing several family members, we had a great time and a chance to catch-up and be entertained by Ty and Brady. Brady loves to eat so it was no surprise that Thanksgiving is his favorite holiday but since it was Ty's FIRST THANKSGIVING he didn't shy away either...he ate his fare share! He was one stuffed little turkey! He gobbled and gobbled, washed it down with milk, and went again..haha. He LOVED IT.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday due to the 4 F's... Family, Food, Fall and Football..GO cowboys (although it's always better when they win but..oh well..haha)

Hope yall all had a great time celebrating our blessings.

Ribbit Ribbit...

Halloween was full of festivities for our little Frog Ty.
He had trick or treating and wear your costume at Mothers Day Out on Monday...were he came home with a bag full of goodies...that Travis and I devoured in front of him..sorry Ty, maybe next year!ha.
On Thursday Travis' office had trick or treating for the employees kids and other downtown office workers kids. So, he wore his little froggy costume again and although he didn't collect any candy this time one of Travis' co-workers did give him a sucker..which he sucked on through the wrapper until the wrapper came slightly off..and got a few licks and then I, the sugar, mommy took it away..:).
Saturday, our friends the Tommerups had a halloween party that Ty and Brady (we got him on saturday and he's staying until thursday to play) got to attend with us since our babysitters (mom and dad) had a party of their own. Ty and Brady wore their costumes and Brady made a new girlfriend with one of the other little kids that were there...we all had a great time. but, we had to leave a little earlier than wanted since we had 2 kiddos who still needed a bath for church the next day. :) ahh...the joys of parenthood!!haha. Actually, it worked out for Travis, who had waken up at 4:30 to go Duck hunting in Tahoka. crazy boys! and yes, they did shoot their limits! :)
And, Sunday on Halloween... after church...(and on a side note..we were early even with handling ty and Brady..haha..we were proud of ourselves)!! anyways, back to my story...after church for lunch we had chili-dogs since that is a Roby Halloween Tradition...even mom and dad enjoyed them with us. later that evening Travis and I volunteered to host a Trunk at the church Trunk or treat...were we had a great time and enjoyed seeing all the hundreds of kids there!! So much fun! Of course, Ty went with us and since Trav and I were party poopers and didn't dress up, Ty was our decoration..haha. Later my mom and dad came with Brady...and once they made it to our trunk they took the boys inside the church were other activities were going on...until 6ish and they got to go home with Grandpa and Mom-Mom since trav and I were staying until 8!
So, Ty had a great first halloween!
